Life: An Update
Well it has been a while since anyone has posted so I figure I will provide an update on the goings on in the saga of life....
Kimberly and Terri had an absolute blast in San Diego...mind you Kimberly was suitably zombified when she made it back home! Shopping, Sun burn, shopping, lots of walking, shopping, meeting with some friends and some more shopping left her a little drained so that when she arrived back at home she was just about ready for bed.
Before bed though she had to wax lyrical about all the shopping!
Have I mentioned that they had fun shopping in San Diego?
So the cats and I enjoyed our quiet weekend...Kind of. I ended up welcoming house guests from Kelowna on the Saturday night, and again Sunday night. Uly managed to be fairly well behaved for the most part. He backed himself into a corner and hissed at one stage but other than that the cats did not seem to mind so much that they house was no longer just for us! The medication that the cats are taking really seems to be working and we are about to start on a lower dose...so fingers crossed!
On Sunday I spent the afternoon with Steven and Julian over in Beacon Hill Park. We had planned on trying to tire Julian out by making him chase a Frisbee around the cricket oval...but those crazy people decided to play cricket on it! Silly people...it was only a sunny Sunday afternoon! Why would they want to play cricket on a cricket oval???
So we played a little Frisbee and a little soccer around the edge of the oval and then headed over to the play equipment.
Everything was going fin until Julian managed to fall and clash heads with a little girl...tears were spilled! Julian managed to loosen a tooth in the process!
Eventually he felt well enough to continue playing (I think about a minute passed...) and he did...so Steven and I managed to spend an hour or so just talking and enjoying the sunshine.
Gee it is a tough life :-)
As for the rest of our life since then...not much to say! We are getting ready for our Australia trip (we will probably just update the blog as a trip record rather than sending mass emails...but you never know!), working and just enjoying the fun Spring weather.
And that concludes my update!

sweeeet! thanks for the update, I was wondering how things went on both fronts. =)
Sounds like a good time was had by all, which is the essence of a wonderful trip! Sorry about the sunburn, that's a major pain in the asterisk for a few days. Sounds like it was well worth it, though.
Cricket on a cricket oval? The nerve! ;) Sounds like a good day to be out enjoying, and good company for it.
OH YEAH!!!!!
Was recently reminded of a comment one of my very best friends made, quoting his father (a marriage counselor) on marriage advice... "The best marriage advice I ever got," I was told...
"Don't marry someone you can't fart in front of."
